Young Minds

In Support of Young Minds

Young Minds are leading the fight for a future where all young minds are supported and empowered, whatever the challenges. They’re there to make sure young people get the best possible mental health support and have the resilience to overcome life’s difficulties. The crisis in children and young people’s mental health is real and it is urgent. More children and young people than ever before are reaching out for help with their mental health. But for those who take that brave step, help is much too hard to find.

At NGYT we fully recognise the importance of happy and healthy young people and we too will do all we can to support them.

If you or your child are experiencing any difficulties that we can help you with then please know we are here to listen and not judge. The Young Minds website offers some fantastic advice to guide you in your moments of need.

Bedfordshire VERU

Supported by Bedfordshire VERU

The Bedfordshire Violence and Exploitation Reduction Unit (VERU) is a network of different agencies and groups aiming to tackle the root causes of things like gang membership and prevent young people becoming involved in all aspects of gang criminality and exploitation.
Tackling violence and the exploitation of children and other vulnerable people in Bedfordshire is absolutely crucial work that no person, group or organisation can solve on their own.

Like Beds VERU, we are aware of the many challenges young people face every day which can lead to issues such as exploitation and criminality. We are dedicated to providing young people with a safe space where they can express themselves without fear of judgement and find a place where they can belong. We are incredibly grateful of the support from VERU to date which has enabled us to deliver vital work; offer scholarship places for those in need, wellbeing support, theatre in education and preventative interventions.
