SEN Expressive Arts Sessions

NGYT are delighted to launch our very own Expressive Arts classes for young people with SEN launching on 19th September 2024 funded by Luton Borough Council and Luton Rising, managed by BLCF via The Luton Citizen's Fund.

6 weeks FREE in Luton
Each session will run weekly for 30 minutes.
Suitable for Key Stages 1, 2, 3 & 4

Luton Irish Forum, 102 Hitchin Road, Luton, LU2 0ES.

Thursdays: 6 weeks FREE starting Thursday 19th September 2024

Group 1: 5.30pm - 6pm

Group 2: 6pm - 6.30pm

Group 3: 6.30pm - 7pm

Young people will be assigned to the appropriate group based on a combination of factors (chronological age, developmental age and the childs preferred ways of engaging EG. Sensory experiences)

We will initially assign your child to a group for the first week giving us the opportunity to get to know them and make a decision as to the most appropriate group from their week 2 onwards.

Wellbeing
At NGYT we aim to promote, prioritise and embed good positive mental health, wellbeing and welfare practices for every member of our team, groups and companies. By prioritising good wellbeing practices, we facilitate a safe environment to address barriers to wellbeing support and needs. In addition, we endeavour to support and signpost our members and parents/carers to appropriate services to respond to any wellbeing difficulties. Our charity partner is Young Minds UK.
