Calling Dunstable

What is calling dunstable?
As part of the UKSPF Cultural Offer, Dunstable Town Council has received £30,000 to support local performing arts in the Community Voluntary Sector (CVS). Calling Dunstable was established to achieve this.
Running until March 2025, Calling Dunstable and this initiative builds creative confidence, enhances group capacity, and promotes equity in accessing performing arts. It offers performance opportunities, explores arts career pathways, and helps groups achieve their goals.
"We are proud to work with Dunstable Town Council and BBB Group Ltd on this vital Arts project; one of discovery, development and showcasing creatives from across Dunstable’s diverse communities. As organisations we take huge pride in supporting artists (who may not see themselves in this way) to recognise and place value in their talents, stories and voices.”
Alongside The BBB Group we will support Dunstable’s creative community, helping them develop their artistry and share their talents with local audiences.
We are seeking dancers, actors, performance troupes, singers, bands, orchestras, choirs, folk groups, producers, DJs, poets, rappers, magicians, circus artists, visual artists, digital artists, comics, puppeteers.... the list goes on and on.
