Hello and welcome to Next Generation Youth Theatre
Join us, then lead us on a journey to create exciting, relevant and ambitious theatre and dance.
We care. We listen. We create. We are NGYT.
PLEASE NOTE: We are currently not delivering our face to face activities however we are very much alive online so follow us to find out more.
Alternatively you could complete a sign up form and we will give you all the info you need to virtually join us.
Take a look at our current Up Our Street : Pop Ups programme supported by Arts Council England where there are a whole host of fun and exciting 'pay what you like' activities and events taking place across North West Luton.
Due to being isolated we are currently exploring ways of delivering this virtually.
To date we have delivered everything from Creative Writing to Beatboxing, Freerunning to Perscussion workshops, plus so much more.
If you are on Instagram or twitter take a look at the #myneighboursanartist challenge we are pushing out online.
At a time when we have been driven to our devices lets not forget how art can be used to help us connect to those next door (physical distancing not social distancing).
Sing it, say it, dance it, play it, exhibit it and share your art. Head to your garden, open your window, stand on your driveway, or step out onto the balcony and entertain your neighbours. Film it, share it, include the #myneighboursanartist and nominate 5 more people to keep art alive for the offline world too.
NGYT smash their crowdfunder as the generous donations pour in online during the live streamed 'NGYT Lockdown' Showcase. Huge thanks to everyone who took part and donated. NGYT Family x
NEXT UP ONLINE-
Homeskool Beatbox Adventures with Shlomo will be shared on our FACEBOOK LIVE on Thursdays at 2pm. This is not to be missed and even better still Shlomo's event is raising money for our amazing NHS. Free to watch, optional to donate. Please contribute if you can.
