Our newly launched Auditioned Street Dance Company is suitable for young people aged 14- 25 who are skilled in street dance styles currently studying dance as well as dance graduates, semi professional and professional dancers.

The company will meet for 2 hours a week developing commercial company repertoire, freestyling, developing material and ideas for their own full length original work or commissioned street dance theatre pieces.

The company will work with Dancers, Co-Directors & Choreographers Nathan Bucio and Andrew Jackson (NGYT Meraki Dance Company and Theatre Company, Kingston University) to create original pieces of Street Dance Theatre about the issues that directly affect them and things they feel passionately about.

NGYT Street Dance Company will be holding open auditions after the Easter break to form the company.
Ahead of the launch of the Auditioned Street Dance Company in April we are offering a 6-week Taster Term in February for all dancers aged 14-25 to see if they would like to Audition to join the company.

Taster sessions will take place for 2 hours on a Friday evening at The Hat Factory Arts Centre, LU1 starting on Friday 28th February 2025 for 6 weeks.
